Panel Discussion on Workplace Best Practices April 5

The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark is offering a series of panel discussions to address best practices in the workplace. Each program is scheduled to take place at The University Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.
Building Cooperation and Communication Among the Generations in the Workplace will take place on Thursday, April 5 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Learn how generations mix in the workplace and how to maximize the benefits of a diverse workforce. Listen to experts describe best practices on encouraging communication and discovering strengths within the various generations in the workplace. Panelists include Patti Bresnahan, Mercy Medical Center’s director of human resources; Deborah Easton, Kent State University at Stark consultant; Derek Gordon, The City of Canton’s management assistant; and Lauren Holly, SARAH Care’s director of Intake and Assessment. The panel will be moderated by Maureen Ater, director of marketing at The Repository.
The remaining panel discussions in the series will cover the following topics:
- Best Practices in Talent Management on July 12, 2012, 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
- Best Practices in Critical Thinking in the Workplace on September 13, 2012, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.
