10th Anniversary of 9/11 Symposium on Sept. 7

To reflect on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, Interfaith Campus Ministry will host a program that will examine the pertinent facts and common misconceptions of that monumental day, as well as provide an open discussion about the hopes for our nation’s future.
9/11 Ten Years Later: Facts, Fables, Future will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 1-2 p.m. in the Kent State University at Stark Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
The event will feature a panel of local practitioners from the Muslim, Jewish and Christian faith.
- Dr. Eyad Nashawati - Pulmonary Physician and Professor of Medicine, NEOUCOM (Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy)
- Rabbi Jon Adland - Temple Israel
- Dr. Michael Gleason - Executive Director, Interfaith Campus Ministry
