Q: I will be taking classes at both the Kent and Stark Campuses and I will have a valid Kent Campus student parking pass. Will my Kent Campus student parking pass be honored at Kent State Stark, or will I have to change passes every time that I commute between the campuses?

A: A valid Kent Campus student parking permit will be honored at Kent State Stark in all designated student parking lots when properly displayed. You won’t need to change passes between campuses. However, be aware that your Kent State Stark pass is NOT valid at the Kent Campus. By the beginning of the semester, all registered Kent State Stark students will have received their parking permits in the mail. If you don’t plan to use it, you can drop it off in the Business Office, 128 Main Hall, and we’ll use it for another student.

Q: What if I register for classes late, how can I get a Kent State Stark student parking permit?

Q: I ride a motorcycle to class at times, will I need to display the parking permit that I will be issued or is there going to be a sticker version of these parking tags available?

A: All motorcycles should park in the designated motorcycle parking area provided in the Main Student Parking Lot # 101 and you will NOT be required to display a Kent State Stark student parking permit. No sticker version is being planned.
Q: Will the parking changes affect visitors attending programs in the Auditorium, Theater, Campus Center or visiting the Library?
Q: I received a Stark parking permit in the mail by mistake because of a scheduling error. What should I do with the permit and will I see a charge for this permit on my student account?
A: No, parking passes will not be required for those students attending summer classes. You should still observe parking lot restrictions and only park in designated student lots.
