SMART Board

SMART Boards are interactive whiteboards which are connected to classroom computers. They respond to your touch and to the SMART pens. You can use the SMART Board as both a monitor and mouse, giving you full control of the computer via the whiteboard.

SMART Notebook Software

SMART Notebook software can be used in conjunction with the SMART Boards or on its own to create interactive educational materials for use in the classroom or online.

Obtain SMART Notebook Software

SMART Notebook software is available for both campus and home use for Stark campus faculty.

Please note that we only have licenses for SMART Notebook, NOT the full suite or any other SMART software.

1. Download and install SMART Notebook (30-day trial).

2. Before the end of the 30-day trial, email the Stark Helpdesk to request a license code.

SMART Board and SMART Notebook Training

If you would like assistance with the SMART Boards and/or SMART Notebook software, live training with your educational technology designer is available, as well as many self-paced online tutorials.

Live Training

Live training sessions (one-on-one and small group) are available by appointment. Please note that training sessions are subject to the availability of classrooms with SMART Boards installed.
