Review of First Year Reappointment files
Useful Information
- All RTP forms (e.g., faculty evaluations forms (“ballots”), transmittal forms, letters, certificates of file completeness) must be completed and submitted electronically on FolioWeb at www.folioweb.org.
- All full-time faculty already have accounts on FolioWeb. Administrators and staff should contact FolioWeb technical support at support@folioweb.com to request an account. Your FolioWeb user name is the same as your Kent State University Flashline username, that is, your email address excluding “@kent.edu.”
- Faculty members have the option of submitting their c.v. in the Faculty Information System or as a PDF document uploaded to FolioWeb.
- University Policy on Publications in relation to Promotion - According to University Policy (Policy Register 6-15(B)), "Unless otherwise specified in the unit handbook, documented in-press and forthcoming scholarly or creative works will be considered as part of the record of accomplishments."
- Certificate of file completeness - Individuals may submit their files before the Sept. 2 deadline, but the certificate of file completeness may not appear until later.
- Unit Guidelines - Guidelines for all units are available at www.folioweb.org/myportfolio/rptguidelines/selectguidelines.cfm.
- Ballots - Ballots are submitted online. File reviewers must login to FolioWeb and select the Assessments menu.
