Grants

The American Honda Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations and schools for youth education programs with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Environmental projects, job training, and literacy programs also will be considered.

James S. McDonnell Foundation
21st Century Science Initiative Funding Opportunities
The James S. McDonnell Foundation supports research and scholarship via review of proposals submitted in response to foundation-initiated programs and calls for proposals. JSMF currently provides funding for grants in three program areas:  studying complex systems, understanding human cognition, and mathematical and complex systems approaches to brain cancer.Strong preference will be given to applications involving multi-institutional collaboration.


National Geographic Foundation

RGK Foundation
The RGK Foundation awards grants in the broad areas of education, community, and health and health/medicine. The Foundation's primary interests within education include programs that focus on formal K-12 education (particularly mathematics, science and reading), teacher development, literacy, and higher education. Within community, the foundation supports a broad range of human services, community improvement, abuse prevention, and youth development programs. The foundation’s current interests in the area of health/medicine include programs that promote the health and well-being of children, programs that promote access to health services, and Foundation-initiated programs focusing on ALS.
