Communication Studies at Kent State Stark

The School of Communication Studies offers a bachelor's degree program with four concentrations: applied communication, interpersonal communication, organizational communication and public communication. Each of these concentrations differ in their focus, but all of them are rooted in a foundational understanding of how, why and with what effects humans interact with one another.

   Communication Studies at Kent State Stark

Students can complete all requirements for the B.A. in Communication Studies in these three concentrations at Kent State Stark:

Communication Studies Concentrations - Finish at the Kent Campus

Students can begin coursework at the Stark Campus before transitioning to the Kent Campus to finish these concentrations.

Career Opportunities

The curriculum provides humanistic and social scientific orientations for those seeking to participate in communication-related professions in business, the media, government, law, sales and the like, or to pursue graduate education.
