First Step: First Year Advising & Registration



First Step is Kent State University at Stark's first year advising and
registration program. It's how new first year students register for fall
classes.


First Step is required for all new first year students age 20 and younger who will begin
at Kent State Stark in the fall (or summer).


Make Your Reservation to Attend First Step



Before you can make your reservation to attend First Step, you must first take the
math placement assessment.

Did you take the math placement assessment?




Have your Kent State ID Number
and Kent State Email ready.



You will be given instructions on how
to take the math placement assessment.
