Club Sports

Club Sports consist of a variety of traditional and non-traditional activities that compete in leagues and tournaments (in our case, against other Kent State Stark students).
  • Who is Eligible to Participate
Membership and participation in a Club Sport is restricted to current Kent State Stark students, faculty and staff. Only these individuals are eligible to represent a club.

  • How to Start a Club Sport
Students interested in starting a new Club Sport should contact the center at 330-244-3392. Members starting a new club must have their application and tentative budget formally approved. New club formation is only permitted in sports not currently offered within the Club Sports program.
All Club Sport ideas are encouraged but are subject to approval.

  • Role of a Club Leader
Club leaders will voluntarily manage and maintain organizations established to promote and develop common sport/recreation related interests. They will also schedule practice sessions and competitions between the teams involved.
